hi Frances lesson 4 module 5 lesson 5 I can identify shapes found in a group of like yesterday I was showing you how I could put a whole bunch of different pattern blocks together and you got good math tool to make some pictures and we're going to I made with pattern blocks and then figure out what shapes are inside the picture let me show you okay so yeah I know it's it's really cool it's a joke. triangle triangle there are different shapes do you see the two shapes that are in there well there are triangle and what are those yellow shapes from yeah 1 3 4 5 6 7 1 there are three hexagons on doing is looking at a super duper fun picture of a gigantic shape with a group of different shapes all together and then I'm going to pick out the ones on the inside umm I don't know what it is about to do that I love to see if you can go get your driver's board turn it down to four different shapes that you see press play to check yourself okay did you write down the four shapes you see perfect the first ship I saw was a try though I'm going to try and go busy pretty easy, just one alright the next shape I found was a hexagon that's at six sided figure so perfect what's that blue one or the red one the blue and the rhombus all right so the rhombus and how many rhombuses are there just one and that last red shape it's a wild shape Idlewild name yeah yeah the trapezoid and there's only one trapezoid the one that I put together to make my vacation that's all we're doing today friend how did you do did you get one triangle one one rhombus and one trapezoid next time I mean I was having fun but I decided to make kitty cat so cute while you write down the four different shapes and then try to write down the number of each press play to check yourself on all the information okay do you have the shape and how many shapes if you don't press pause okay here we go so first I thought some triangles in my cute little kitties had right there so I counted on one two hexagons again its legs are trapezoids and there are one to one friend how did you do oh God if you mess up don't worry and don't forget you the anchor charts in the pods to help you remember the different names of the shapes all right I know isn't it was short but our learning goal is that I can identify shapes found in a group of shape and you did such a good job I want to give you extra time to have the chance to explore the pattern blocks and make pictures with him so it'll give you a chance to do that right now I want you to go get this exit ticket from your teacher at the bottom but look at the shape Square and underneath the picture that says color all the triangles green color all the squares orange and cover all the trapezoids read the Gobi rack color all the triangles green you're going to color all the squares orange and your eye color all the trapezoids red and that's how we're going to show that you can find the Moon made with inside of a boyfriend
