Mrs. Cunningham's 2nd grade class
I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach at Schilling Farms Elementary, Collierville's newest elementary school! Thank you for partnering with me to help your child achieve great things this year. I am looking forward to working with your child in English and Language Arts. Together I know we will make an amazing team to help your child have a positively terrific year.
A little bit about me. My family and I have lived in Collierville for 19 years and can't imagine a better place to live! My husband, Matt, and I have two daughters. Our oldest daughter is in her final year of graduate school and will graduate in May with her doctorate of Physical Therapy. Our youngest daughter is a senior at the University of Arkansas (Go Hogs!) . She is working towards her degree in Elementary Education. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, watching sports, reading, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
I earned my degree in Elementary Education from New Mexico State University in 1986, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I have taught, and am certified to teach in grades 2 through 6. For the last 2 years I have taught at Sycamore Elementary here in Collierville.
I am excited, humbled and blessed to be here at Schilling Farms Elementary!
Our first book report is due Tuesday, October 2. Please see the link to download a copy of the book report if your student needs an extra copy. We are looking forward to seeing and hearing all about the terrific books our students have read!
- Mrs. Greer will be sending home a Tennessee Fun Fact homework sheet tomorrow. Students should complete this assignment and bring it to school on Friday ready to share with the class. The instructions are on the back of the sheet. It is also posted on the webpage if your child loses the sheet.
