📢 Schilling Farms Elementary - Orientation Day Reminders
Dear Parents/Guardians,As you prepare for Orientation Day this Thursday, July 30 please review the information below to help ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
✅ Returning Students
Upon entering the building, returning students and their families should report directly to the cafeteria to verify residency documentation.All returning students must provide two (2) current acceptable proofs of residency showing the parent/guardian's name and address.
Acceptable Proofs of Residency (Paper Copies Only):
You may provide any two of the following:- Driver's License
- Public/Government Benefits or Assistance Documentation
- Sales Contract (contingency agreements are not accepted)
- Real Estate Tax Receipt
- Mortgage Information
- Current MLGW Bill or Turn-On Receipt
- Municipal Water Bill
- Rental or Lease Agreement*
🆕 New Students That Completed Registration during Spring Kindergarten Registration Days, July 8, or July 15
Students who have completed registration and submitted all required documentation should check in at the front table upon arrival. Families will receive a slip directing them to their child's homeroom classroom.📚 New Students Not Yet Registered
New students who have not completed registration or submitted required documents should report to the library.Please note:
- Bring hard copies of all required residency documents.
- Electronic copies, screenshots, photos, or emailed documents cannot be accepted.
- Only the approved residency documents listed above will be accepted.
- If using a lease or rental agreement as one proof, a current MLGW bill is required as the second proof.
- Birth Certificate, TN Official Health Certificate of Immunization, Last Report Card (if available).
- New Kindergarten Students* - Physical Examination
🏠 Shared Residence Families

Important Reminders
- A new Shared Residence Affidavit and current residency documents must be submitted each school year.
- All shared residence requirements must be completed before registration can be finalized.
- All shared residence must be approved by Student Services prior to enrollment
