SFES Stallion Families -

Schilling Farms Elementary School is excited to announce that Mr. Ryan Carey will be joining the administrative team as an assistant principal. Mr. Carey, a 2008 Collierville High School graduate, has called Collierville home since 1997.

“I am blessed to join the Schilling Farms family, and I am excited to support students, teachers, and parents in fulfilling the vision and mission of SFES,” said Carey. “I look forward to applying my relentless effort and energy to the role, and I am thankful for this opportunity.”

Carey’s career in education started in 2013 at Collierville Middle School, where he served as an 8th grade history teacher. He moved to Collierville High School in 2018, where he held the roles of history teacher, PLC data coach, instructional coach, and work-based learning coordinator from 2018-2023. During the 2023-2024 school year, he served as the district’s Career & Technical Education Specialist.

Mr. Carey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Mississippi State in 2012 and participated in the Memphis Leadership Scholars Program in 2017, earning a Master’s degree in School Administration and Supervision. He and his wife, Rebecca, reside in Collierville and have a three-year-old son, Isaiah.

I am thrilled to welcome Mr. Carey to the Stallion family. His extensive experience in various educational roles within Collierville Schools uniquely positions him to support both staff and students effectively. As a devoted member of the Collierville community and a proud graduate of our school system, he brings an infectious personality and a remarkable ability to build strong relationships. I am confident that all stakeholders will be equally excited to have him join us as our new assistant principal.

Join me in welcoming Mr. Carey to the Stallion Family!

Enjoy the remainder of your summer!
